How many months should I treat my water?
When water temps are at 45 degrees and above would be the season for treatment.
Why do I need to treat my pond?
Water left untreated will often grow algae. This algae has many unwanted effects on the water. The most noticeable, being a slippery or stringy green organic growth or green color in the water, and an unpleasant smell.
When will I see results?
In most cases, 4 to 6 weeks is needed to see results. But we recommend at least 3 months to allow the bacteria to consume the nutrients. It is IMPORTANT to note that quite often your water feature will initially look worse after starting treatment and then suddenly clear up.
